My sister Roxanne delivered her baby sometime last night.
It was a girl weighing 9 and a half pounds and 22 inches long, big baby.

I just got braces.

I am 24 years old and on February 10, 2009 I got dental braces.

I didn't really want braces, but my grill is kind of effed up so I kind of had to. My dad paid for them, they weren't as expensive as I thought they'd be, I guess dentists are feeling the recession too.

I went on Tuesday to get them put on, I also had 2 teeth taken out which required no less than 8 shots to be injected into my mouth.

I got mine grey, there are like a million different fluorescent colors for 13 year olds, but I'm 24 and don't need any attention being brought to my mouth. The braces are actually smaller than I thought too. They don't take up the whole tooth, just a small portion.

They are annoying as hell though, first of all you can not eat jack shit with these on. Every time I bite down it hurts, and you have to clean them pretty good or else food gets stuck in them. I've just been eating mashed potatoes and soup. I got some pain killers though, so it's not all bad.
I need to go back in a month to get 2 more teeth taken out...

ps-If anyone has had braces and has any handy tips, let me know.

I know 23 ain't old but god damn it sure can make you feel old. My birthday was this past weekend, the 11th to be exact. I had a little party with my family and then went out and got drunk that night and watched the fight that was on Showtime.

Gifts: Guitar Hero 3, gift card to my local multiplex, some money, a jacket, a little more money and free pizza from my cousin who happens to work at a pizza joint.

So in preparation for my trip to vegas, today was a busy day for me.
Started off my getting a hair cut, washing some clothes, then i went to go replace my 2 back tires because they were kind of bald. Then i took my car into the shop for a tune up and then i relaxed and saw 'We own the night', not bad. I still got to go home and pack, i am leaving tomorrow at 10 am. See you guys on monday! bye.

It's is raining something fierce here in Los Angeles, i dont know where this rain came from or what. Just last week it was still hot from summer and today bam! rain! crazy weather.

This whole week i've been waking up far after noon, usually around the 3 o'clock mark and today it happened to be the 6 pm mark. I initially wanted to go out somewhere and get drunk, maybe dance with some honeys and if i were lucky, get some. But i didn't feel like going out and the plans i had made fell through anyways...

But tomorrow is another day! Tomorrow is the UFC pay per view that i will be watching at my friends house with lots of beer and maybe some whiskey if i take it. It shall be loads of fun and action. I'm not sure what time the ppv is but if it isn't over too late we still might be going out, who knows.

In nerd news, halo 3 comes out monday night! yay.

so on friday we went to this bar called the Yardhouse, it was in OC i think, i didnt drive. We got drunk and went home and watched kill bill 2, which still sucks...

Then on Saturday me and my friend got some shrooms and proceeded to trip balls man. It was fun, i hadn't taken them in years.

So i just got fired today from my job, so i ain't got shit except about my check for this week, which should be about 200 bones. I wish i would have saved a bit more, but whatever. So i am stuck in a predicament, this was my first real job with real paycheck so do i go back to my doing nothing but play video games and wake up at noon stuff? Or do i get a real job i've been putting off for years because i hate the idea of having a boss? OR do i finally just get my bail license and work for my family? So my choices are do nothing, climb the corporate ladder or get a bail license. i think ill opt for number 3 after a few months of the number 1. But i don't know and i need some time to think on it, this sucks. I've grown accustom to having at least a little money always in my pocket. We shall see, tune in later for more exciting adventures of jay's life, which is pretty fucking uneventful.

Blood Bros. this past sunday at the glass house was awesome. miko mika, or some stupid name was first, they were alright. They were not too bad for an opening band but not that great either. Then this band named the celebration came out, but i went outside to smoke and then decided to go to jack in the box for some oj. got back, saw blood brothers rock the house and then proceeded to rock out even more in the pit and all kinds of fun was had. good show overall, it reinvigorated me to want to go to more shows, it was so much fun.

then on monday i saw vacancy which was a pretty damn good little movie.

Meh, not bad, not great, only listened to it once though. still can't make up my mind about it at all.
